There is a wonderful combination in the third grade of No. 3 Middle School: Wei Qianyi from Class 7 and Zhao Jing from Class 3.
Wei Qianyi is the dual focus of the stage and the court. When she hosts a cultural performance, the spotlight can follow her. When she turns around to smash a badminton ball, she can scare the sparrows from the tree. She would always grab Chen Ran's throat lozenges and hold them in her mouth, but she would suddenly become quiet when Zhao Jing was being heckled - the boy who lowered his head to solve math problems. The microphone trace drawn on the back of the scratch paper was neater than the parabolic formula.
Zhao Jing is a mobile math question bank. He always sits by the window to deduce geometric models. Even the dining plates in the cafeteria are arranged in a coordinate system. He secretly calculated the speed and rhythm of Wei Qianyi's speech when hosting, but when Zhou Ming shouted, "Wei Qianyi is looking at you," he stuck the compass into the rubber.
It wasn't until that grade-level badminton match that Wei Qianyi picked up Zhao Jing's notebook in the gymnasium. The title page read: "The vertex of the parabola is for meeting again." It wasn't until Zhou Ming came over with two tickets to the Science and Technology Museum and Zhao Jing blushed and said, "The mathematical principles of Foucault's pendulum are more interesting" that Wei Qianyi discovered that this "humanoid calculator"'s eyes would glow when talking about fractal geometry.
Chen Ran held up Zhao Jing's scratch paper and screamed: "What the hell is this erased and drawn microphone trace?!"
When Zhao Jing received the training notice for the mathematics competition, and when Wei Qianyi was to host the Municipal Youth Science and Technology Festival on behalf of the school, the two parabolas that had finally gotten close seemed to be returning to their respective tracks.
Wei Qianyi touched the badminton racket given by Zhao Jing, and suddenly found "y=kx+b" engraved on the inside of the handle, and the back of her hosting words was filled with intersecting parabolas at some point.
(Small theater:
Wei Qianyi: This quadratic function...
Zhao Jing (the tips of his ears are red): I, let me tell you about the parabola of badminton!
Zhou Ming: Do you call this a rehearsal? This is called rehearsal! )
