It is a work that combines past and present life, as well as fairy tale fantasy, and revolves around the fateful entanglement between the god of war Shen Yanzhi and the sycamore leaf elf Su Wanyu (actually the reincarnation of the remnant soul of the Xuanyu goddess of the Phoenix tribe).
The Six Realms regard the phoenix as the venerable one. Thousands of years ago, the phoenix clan sealed the demon lord and died, leaving only a ray of soul of the goddess Xuanyu attached to the Wuxi Stone. The God of War Shen Yanzhi, as the only true god left in ancient times, shoulders the mission of restarting the divine world, but is hindered by the laws of heaven and Xuan Yu's love. The two have gone through many reincarnations: in the demon world, Shen Yanzhi, as the king of demons, has a love-hate relationship with Su Wanyu, a half-hearted demon catcher, because of the cause of soul twitching and the consequences of life extension; in the human world, Su Wanyu unexpectedly marries Shen Yanzhi, who has experienced calamity, and starts a "couple" life that is both ironic and deeply affectionate.
The main line of the story is intertwined with the adventure of a fairy looking for the fragments of lacquer phoenix feathers and fighting against the threat of the demon king. The side lines are intertwined with the struggle and perseverance of a human-monster's different paths and forbidden love. There are not only the thousands of years of love between the God of War and the Goddess spanning life and death, but also the interesting interactions and undercurrents of intrigue brought by characters such as Emperor Pei Zhiyuan and Nanyang Shaojun Jiang Yuemian, and finally explore the eternal propositions of fate, cause and effect, love and responsibility.
Concept: Confrontation between love and fate
