"Wedding Banquet" is a short horror novel that combines rural folklore and spooky elements. The story tells the story of a rural wedding that seems ordinary but hides horror through the perspective of a teenager. The cousin is forced to marry a mysterious man who is handsome in the eyes of everyone, but in fact only the boy and the bride can see his old and terrifying true face.
A year later, when my cousin gave birth to a child, the truth gradually emerged - this seemingly human man actually used a human uterus as a container to breed "food" and attempted to devour the newborn. At the critical moment, the boy and his grandmother team up to expose this terrible contract that has lasted for hundreds of years, using shotguns and torches to fight against supernatural terror.
Through a unique dual perspective (the illusion seen by everyone and the truth seen by the protagonist), the work explores the themes of appearance and reality, tradition and oppression, and writes a strange story about courage and redemption within the framework of folk horror.
Purpose: Defeat the bad guys
