Fortune teller Shi Yan was always called a "magic stick". He squatted at the entrance of an old alley to set up a stall, using the astrolabe and divination taught by his master to listen to all the thoughts of the world - until the psychiatrist Gu Zhao walked in and said with a cold face: "You are feudal superstition."
One is a misunderstood "metaphysics liar" and the other is a rigid "scientific believer". The two people who are supposed to be opposites slowly discover through contact: Shi Yan's hexagrams contain insights into the human heart, and Gu Zhao's medical records are filled with uncured loneliness.
What they don't know is that Yu Xi, a depressed girl wandering on the streets, Shi Xiyan, a genius boy whose family is in decline, Lin Yunxi, an innocent girl swallowed up by rumors... These souls crumpled by fate have long been woven into a web in the dark - Yu Baijiu can see clearly from the end of time that all the "mistakes" in this world are just unspoken "regrets" and "redemption" that is too late to be realized.
When the fortune teller's astrolabe shines into the psychiatrist's clinic, and when "magic sticks" and "science" put aside their prejudices, those who have been pushed into the mud by life finally look up: It turns out that the most healing thing is not "accurate destiny", but someone who is willing to bend down and take a serious look at the light hidden in your eyes.
And Shi Yan and Gu Zhao didn't expect that this encounter that started from a misunderstanding would turn into a bowl of the richest sweetness in the impermanence of the world - "You said I was wrong? But I want to prove that the most right thing in this world is that we finally understand each other."
Intention: Misunderstandings will eventually be resolved, and healing will arise from impermanence.
