"Love for Love" tells the story of the sadomasochistic entanglement between Wang Yuman, a wealthy daughter of H City, and Xiang Fan, the owner of a restaurant and bar. The two met because of a "misunderstanding" at a KTV. Wang Yuman was attracted by Xiang Fan's singing voice and temperament, but they fell in love because Xiang Fan lied about being gay. During the subsequent relationship, Yuman gradually fell in love with Xiang Fan, and the two broke through the obstacles and came together. However, due to the opposition of Yuman's parents (who disliked Xiang Fan for being a gambler), Xiang Fan was forced to leave.
In order to retaliate against Xiang Fan, Yuman agreed to get engaged to Zheng Haidong, but she encountered an accident at the engagement party - Xiang Fan showed up to save her, and fell into the cliff with the gangster, leaving her life or death uncertain.
