Two male protagonists
Jiang Yan: She was domestically abused by her father. Her parents divorced and she followed her grandma. However, her grandma left when she was a freshman in high school and was picked up by her mother.
Ji Guannan: His mother died and he suffered from severe depression. When he was a sophomore in high school, he transferred to their class (Jiang Yan) and was saved by Jiang Yan.

Ji Guannan confessed his love to Jiang Yan in the first semester of his senior year of high school. They were discovered by Ji Guannan's father when they were passionately in love.
