The young village was massacred, and Carmilla survived with a White Snake badge in her possession, but was thrown into the bloody Colosseum by fate. For revenge and survival, she fought out at the cost of a broken arm, and chose to surrender to the master of the Colosseum, Lomir, the beautiful and cold woman who held the emblem of the White Snake in her hand.
Becoming Lomir's adopted daughter, Carmilla stepped into the darker "Snake's Nest". Here, pain is nourishment and betrayal is the norm. She dragged her remaining body to temper her malice, and gradually learned to make up for her lack of strength with dexterity and ruthlessness.
Lomir gave her medicine, sharp blades and knowledge of dangers, just like taming a poisonous snake, pouring resources into her while watching her struggle with cold eyes. In the eyes of the adoptive mother, there was hidden ridicule, unspeakable indulgence, and guilt that perhaps even she herself was not aware of.
Carmilla is torn between hatred and twisted dependence. When the bloody curtain of truth fell, she found that the blade of revenge had already been entangled with incomprehensible emotions.
