The summer of his sophomore year in high school at the age of seventeen was a routine for Ran Chengyang - classes, exercises, and the always bright sunshine outside the window. Until the transfer student named Bai Rao was thrust into his top class.
No one is quite sure how Bai Rao was transferred here. They only vaguely heard that he relied on connections and had some rumors that he was "not easy to mess with". As expected, it didn't take long for Bai Rao to become a person that no one on campus dared to easily provoke with his unruly attitude.
He and Ran Chengyang, who followed the rules, were like two parallel lines. They occasionally passed each other in the corridor or shared a quiet air in class, and their interactions were pitiful. But no one expected that the fate of these two completely different young people would be quietly intertwined without anyone noticing.
The intention: to capture the collision of edges and purity in adolescence, to freeze the love that once illuminated each other with regret, and to retain the most vivid mark of growth.
