Store summer in your ears
——A period of youth that says I love you in silence
In the tallest building of the century-old school, there is only one wall between the sound waves of the radio station and the silence of the hearing-impaired rehabilitation center.
At the beginning of the first year of high school, Qin Zheng, the head of the radio station with a clean voice, used transfer student Lin Sheng's cochlear implant as a listening device; Lin Sheng pressed the mute button during the school's sound check, causing the thousands of people in the playground to fall silent instantly. As a result, they became enemies and were put into the same "campus media rectification team", where they began to use the sharpest words to hurt each other.
During the summer vacation of the second year of high school, a "silent confession" broadcast live by the whole school unexpectedly became popular——
The broadcast was blank for ten seconds. Within ten seconds, Lin Sheng wrote "I heard you" on the water of the abandoned swimming pool.
Qin Zheng cut the blank tape in half and stuffed half into Lin Sheng's palm: "This will be our common language from now on."
From that day on, they learned to find each other's frequency in their fingertips, lip shapes, and heartbeats.
The senior year of high school is in chaos, the mother loses her voice, the art exam fails, the Mathematical Olympiad training, the volunteer crashes...
Every time they were on the verge of collapse, they would save what they wanted to say on the same tape and play it to each other late at night.
When the graduation countdown reached zero and the radio station turned off the lights for the last time, Qin Zheng pressed the mute button——
Everyone thought it was a technical failure. Only Lin Sheng knew that in those ten seconds, the simplest sentence was actually recorded:
"I love you from the height of summer to the dawn of time."
This is a campus story without superpowers,
It is also a long poem of youth written to all those who have heard it or are looking for "heartbeats at the same frequency".
Intention: Real listening is not done with ears, but with the whole soul to resonate; when two lonely frequencies are aligned with each other, silence can also become the loudest confession.
