1. Core settings
- World view: In the "Yunjing City" where technology and retro are intertwined, there is a special group called "Time Travelers". Without the use of tools, they can briefly "sneak into" the past/future fragments associated with the objects by simply touching old objects with strong "time stamps" (such as ancestral pocket watches, old photos, handwritten letters). However, each dive will accelerate its own "time entropy increase" - the appearance age will slowly age prematurely, and it is impossible to directly intervene in key events in the clip, otherwise it will be ejected by the "time turbulence" and lose part of the real memory.
-Core rules restrictions:
1. Each "time traveler" can only establish deep connections with 3 old objects in his life. Exceeding the number will cause chaos in his own timeline (such as "future afterimages").
2. The dived-in time segment is "one-way": you can only view what has happened in the past, or the "highest probability" things in the future, and cannot actively change the direction of the segment.
2. Character setting
Protagonist: Shen Shi
- Identity: 29 years old, restorer of old objects in Yunjing City. He has been able to see "time spots" on old objects since he was a child. It was not until he triggered "time intrusion" for the first time when he was repairing an old pocket watch left by his grandfather that he realized that he was a "time traveler". My grandfather disappeared mysteriously three years ago, leaving only half a broken clock face at the scene.
- Personality: In the early stage, he was meticulous and restrained, full of curiosity and fear about his identity as a "time traveler". He did not dare to use his abilities in depth because of fear of aging and amnesia. In the later stage, in order to find out the truth about his grandfather's disappearance, he gradually became brave and learned to balance between "observing time" and "protecting reality".
Intention: Travelers of time must eventually learn to walk with regrets
