This is a not-so-easy story. It tells the story of how a girl, burdened with the heavy trauma of her original family and the personality shackles of avoidant attachment, struggles to complete self-rescue and reconstruction in the quagmire of self-denial. Therefore, the first half of the story will inevitably be heavy, slow, and even depressing. This is inevitable for the plot and character setting. All the foreshadowing is to better understand the courage required behind every tiny growth of the protagonist.
If you are willing to give Ji Ling the patience to accompany her through her long night, you will later see how she is nourished by love, how she learns to love, and finally welcomes the light full of warmth and hope.
(The introduction to this work may be a bit solemn, like an official document. Because the author himself is indeed a bit of a man-machine... Don't worry, it will be super sweet in the later stage, hehe!)
Intent: Self-salvation is the ultimate romance, love and companionship are the light that illuminates the dark night.
