Cao Cao in History
Cao Cao (155-220), courtesy name Mengde, was born in Qiao County, Peiguo (now Bozhou, Anhui). A powerful minister in the late Eastern Han Dynasty and the founder of Cao Wei. He was good at using troops, defeated Yuan Shao in the Battle of Guandu, and unified the north. After he was appointed prime minister, he took advantage of the emperor to order the princes to recruit talents.
