Journey to the West in Lotus Fire 莲火西游行
Heaven and Buddhism struck a secret deal to imprison Sun Wukong in the Nine Nether Cold Abyss. Nezha was banished to the mortal realm over the old case of his havoc in Heaven, and forced to take Wukong's place as Tang Sanzang's protector on the journey west. Currents of unrest churn beneath the surface of the Three Realms. The pilgrimage route has been deliberately engineered into the "Forty-Nine Heavenly Tribulations," while Heaven and Buddhism wage a battle for faith from behind the scenes.
