This work "Annotations on Mao's Poems" was written by Kong Yingda (574-648), courtesy name Chongyuan (one author is Zhongda, Chongdan), and was born in Hengshui, Jizhou (now Hengshui, Hebei). One of the eighteen great scholars in the early Tang Dynasty.
