Zhongshuo (Sui) Written by Wang Tongcompleted "The Doctrine of the Mean", the companion volume of "The Doctrine of the Mean", is a disciple of the Sui Dynasty thinker Wang Tong and a book written by him. Wang Tong (584-618) was born in Longmen, Jiangzhou (now Hejin, Shanxi) in the Sui Dynasty. His courtesy name was Zhongyan, and his title was Zhongzi.
