It's not Cha Wenbin's book. The protagonist has a tiger finger protection given by his master, a little monk friend who loves cakes, a story about an old village chief who trapped the whole village, his friend turned himself into a zombie in order to become stronger, and a kid named Diandian who was trained to become a ghost.
