The Mad Lord Clings to the Little Chef, and Behaves the Moment He Smells Her Cooking

[Both Leads Are Virgins + Saving Each Other + Sweet Romance + Slow Burn + Ancient-Style Fantasy] [The Male Lead Is Domineering, the Female Lead Is Timid but Defiant, with a Touch of Absurd Humor]

Tang Xiaoman runs away to avoid her wedding and accidentally ends up working as a cook at Madman's Manor.

The manor's master, Li Xianjue, tears down houses and kills people whenever he has an episode. Everyone in the manor runs faster than a rabbit when he goes berserk, afraid they'll be hacked in two if they're a moment too slow.

On her first day at work, Xiaoman runs into him in the middle of an episode and nearly loses her head.

Then he discovers that as long as he can smell her, he doesn't go crazy.

From then on, he insists she keep him company while he eats, stand guard while he sleeps, and even lets him dictate what she thinks. Everyone in the manor treats her like a life-saving charm, but all she wants is to run away. I'm here to be a cook, not a tranquilizer!

Li Xianjue: Say that again.

Xiaoman: ...I said, my lord, you can do whatever you like.
