When the national Pokémon college entrance exam results are released, millions of candidates go into massive debt and study themselves half to death just to get a Level 5 Starter Pokémon!

Meanwhile, Zhou Hao, only son of the current Champion of the Donghuang Alliance, has just gotten his license when the Shiny Metagross he raised at home for ten years charges into a Poké Ball of its own accord and chooses him as its Trainer!

And that's not all: the [Fortune Critical Hit System] activates!

His first bond triggers a ten-thousandfold critical hit, sending Shiny Metagross straight to the peak of the Champion tier, awakening divine potential and instantly maxing out its ultimate moves!

While everyone else is still feeling around in the cradle at the starting line, he has already reached the finish line before even stepping outside!

He snatches the Chosen One's mutated Mudkip and gets a tenfold critical hit. It breaks through a level and evolves on the spot, then defeats his genius older cousin with a single punch!

He explores the forbidden zone behind the mountain and adopts a prehistoric Tyrunt. A hundredfold critical hit awakens the bloodline of a Totem Tyrant, shaking the entire Alliance!

On his very first day at Donghuang Academy, facing the conceited top scorer and a hellish practical exam, Zhou Hao casually pulls out a Platinum Luxury Ball...

"A placement test? Big guy, come out and sneeze. Give them a wake-up call."
