Four Days On, Three Days Off, and Company Housing: Workers Across the Internet Are Weeping

Shang Lu, an elite at a major tech company, was sick of being ground down by the 996 work schedule. After activating the [Era Foundation System], he returned to a small northern city where housing was dirt cheap and founded the Wanxiang Group.

Most people start companies to make money. Shang Lu started his purely to give money to his employees!

The happier his employees are, the more cash back the System gives him, and the more powerful the national heavy-industry technologies he unlocks!

Here, there are no morning meetings, no team-building events, and no bosses making empty promises.

Employees work just six hours a day. When the workday ends, security guards use megaphones to chase everyone out.

The group fully covers medical care for employees and their families, and their children can attend top schools for free from kindergarten through high school!

While young people in other cities still worry about mortgages and car loans, the ten million employees of Wanxiang Group have achieved the freedom to buy homes, get medical care, and have children!

A financial pundit ranted on a livestream: “You have ten million employees and keep only one percent of the profits! That's financial ruin!”

Shang Lu gestured to the bustling city outside his window, as lively as it was during the New Year, and smiled calmly.

“Giving ten million families a good life while still earning tens of billions a year, Professor Pundit, is that really so hard?”
