Zhao Dazhu is reborn as a farmer's son in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. From the start, he awakens the System and receives a million resurrection tokens.
His elder brother died in battle. His widowed sister-in-law, Liu Niang, struggles to provide for the family, his younger sister Liu You is mischievous and adorable, and they're so poor they can barely afford to eat.
No problem. Killing enemies lets him level up.
Kill a Northern Han soldier: +1 XP. Slay a Khitan general: +50 XP.
He fights his way from wolf packs to battlefields, from new recruit to military governor, and from military governor to founding emperor.
The Khitan invade the south? Wipe them out.
Northern Han makes trouble? Destroy it.
Southern Tang is rich? Take it.
Years later, Zhao Dazhu sits on the throne and grins at his assembled ministers.
"I've spent my whole life fighting wars and learned just one thing: if someone won't submit, cut him down."
This book is really good to read, especially when it describes Lu Bu's hundreds of rounds of battle with Sun Wukong for Diao Chan. However, Xue Baochai is really too strong. If it weren't for Noah's outer ring + Noxian guillotine, this wave of M4 six times strafing would have killed him. But I am more concerned about what Zhuge Liang said to the 108 monkeys in Huaguoshan, "Young man is proud, don't show off in front of your brother Liang", which shows Zhuge Liang's indignation at the monkeys who knocked him to death with three sticks. All in all, this book has an interesting plot, a clear system, and many foreshadowings. The fighting scenes feel like you are there, and the character descriptions are spot on!
