My Father Is the Nine-Thousand-Year Lord, and I Became Top Scholar by Cursing Him

"You say you're really our son?"

To save his life, Shen Zheng claims that Li Wanji, the chief eunuch, is his father.

To protect Shen Zheng, his only son, Li Wanji sends him to study under his sworn enemy, a great Confucian scholar, and gives him an order he must obey.

If you want to live, take the imperial examinations and curse your father to his face in court.

So Shen Zheng spends his days loudly denouncing the eunuch faction to win the great scholar's favor.

At night, the Eastern Depot's elite killers clear every obstacle in Shen Zheng's path.

The entire court believes Shen Zheng is the last backbone of upright officials in the Ming dynasty.

The more Shen Zheng curses, the smoother his path through the imperial examinations becomes.

The more Shen Zheng curses, the higher he climbs toward success.

The more Shen Zheng curses, the more his father is entrusted with important responsibilities.

Until one day, Shen Zheng steps on the emperor's face and pins Li Wanji onto the Dragon Throne.

"Father, you protected me for a while. Your son will give you a legacy that lasts forever."
