When Wu Xie carried a tiny, doll-like child out of the meteorite jade deep in the Queen Mother of the West's Kingdom, everyone thought it was a zongzi that had become a spirit.
Then the child grabbed Zhang Qiling's finger, giggled, and called him "Dad." The entire place fell silent.
From then on, Yucun had a little lordling to dote on.
Wu Xie stayed up all night studying childcare, then mixed the formula into a paste.
Zhang Qiling held the baby in one arm and hacked at zongzi with the other. Quiet as ever, he became the child's personal human cradle.
Wang Pangzi taught the child to sing, "Uncle Pang is the handsomest," and Wu Xie chased him down three whole streets.
Hei Xiazi secretly taught the child how to trick his dad out of money, only to have Xie Yuchen cut off his allowance.
Xie Yuhua spent money like water, pampering the little one into the most lavishly spoiled kid in the Nine Gates.
Later, someone asked Wu Xie, "Isn't raising a child exhausting?"
Wu Xie looked at the little one chasing chickens around the courtyard, then at his brother Xiao silently wiping his blade, and smiled. "It is. But this is the only light I found in the darkness."
[Reading Guide]
Ping Xie pairing + heartwarming parent-child story; no breaking up or reversing the pairing.
The child isn't biologically theirs. Their origins are mysterious, and they have a built-in golden finger: an affinity with monsters.
Mostly warm, healing daily life, with some light adventure arcs.
OOC warning for the whole cast. Please enjoy this big-shot crew with a baby responsibly~
I'm very confused as to why Wu Xie took out a child from the Queen Mother of the West. In the original novel, Wu Xie didn't enter the Fall. If you say Zhang Qiling burst out, that's fine. You said Hei Xiazi, it won't be a big deal if you change it yourself, but you are talking about the unevolved Wu and his strength value, you seem to be joking
