I Appraise Treasures and Turn My Life Around

Sun Fan is a poor young man who runs a street stall in the antiques district. Every day, he gets chased by city inspectors, pushed around by other vendors, and looked down on by his girlfriend.

One day, while setting up his stall, he accidentally cuts his finger on a chipped blue-and-white porcelain bowl. His blood seeps into the bottom of the bowl, which turns out to contain the lifelong legacy of a master appraiser from the Republic of China era!

From then on, Sun Fan has a pair of discerning eyes: with a single glance, he can determine the authenticity, age, and value of porcelain, jade, paintings and calligraphy, bronzes, and all kinds of miscellaneous antiques.

He begins quietly finding hidden treasures in the antiques district, picking up million-yuan rarities among items worth just a few dozen yuan. The poor stallholder everyone looked down on gradually becomes the famous "King of Bargain Finds."

He buys his parents a house and a villa, and saves a dowry for his younger sister. The relatives who once scorned him now come knocking to curry favor.

The most beautiful shop owner in the antiques district takes an interest in him, he dominates the competition at an appraisal convention, and he outsmarts his rivals at auctions...

Sun Fan makes one comeback after another, rising from a street vendor to a master appraiser and becoming a true man of standing!

Key thrills: bargain finds and face-slapping, giving back to family, beautiful women pursuing him, appraisal showdowns, rapidly growing wealth, and a rise in status.
