The black stone led to a set of coordinates. At their destination was a dying star.
The people there made a request of Chen Du:
"Please prove that our world once lived."
At first, humanity only received testimonies and preserved relics. Later, some remembered a homeland they had never visited; some began missing children they had never met; and some spoke the name of another world in front of their families.
An unfamiliar city gradually appeared beneath humanity's sky.
If they refused to accept it, that civilization might vanish without even a trace. But if they continued to accept it, the living would lose their own lives.
Chen Du once searched desperately for people erased from history. This time, he must face those who do not want to be found, do not want to become vessels, and do not want to decide who lives or dies on someone else's behalf.
The star is still dying.
And the visitors can wait no longer.
