Slay the Dragon? Pay Off Your Church's Debts First

"Don't talk to me about light and justice. Around here, my contracts are the law!"

Reborn as an Abyssal Red Dragon, I was cornered from the start in a dungeon by the First Saintess of the Holy Light Church, who had come to slay me.

Just as I was about to lose my head, I awakened the [Monster Workshop System] and activated a ten-thousand-level formation, pinning the lofty Saintess beneath my feet.

Want to die and be done with it? Not a chance!

"You broke my front gate and startled a mighty dragon. Your emotional distress comes to three million gold coins. Sign this indefinite labor contract and spend the rest of your life serving me tea and water to pay off your debt!"

The once pure and immaculate Saintess pressed her thumbprint onto the contract in humiliation and put on a maid outfit.

But that was only the beginning. To squeeze every last coin out of this world, I bared my capitalist fangs:

I monopolized the water supply and forced the proud elves to work 996 schedules planting magical herbs for me;

I cut off their sales channels and made the stubborn dwarven kingdom work 007 to forge magical mechs for me;

I went big on finance, launched "Abyss Concept Stocks," and ruthlessly harvested the wealth of the entire continent!

Just three years later, when the God of Light prepared to descend into the mortal realm and destroy me, he discovered in despair that:

The economy of the divine kingdom had collapsed, the angels were delivering takeout for me, and the pope had blown up his account trading my stocks and run off with his sister-in-law!

Seated on a throne of pure gold, I looked down upon the gods. "Want a war? Fine. Settle your loans from the divine realm first!"
