My Family Sold Me for Food? I'll Take My Supplies and Head into the Mountains

[Rebirth + famine flight + space + stockpiling goods + natural disasters + independent heroine + farming]

Chen Sanniang was reborn on the night before her own father pressed her thumbprint onto a contract selling her to bandits. In her previous life, she was sent to the bandits' stronghold to work as a laborer and worked herself to death in a mill during the famine. Before she died, she heard her father use the three dou of grain from selling her to arrange a marriage for her younger brother.

In this life, she opened her eyes to find a stone chamber like an ice cellar in her mind. It could store grain and clothes, but not living things. She remembered everything clearly: the drought would worsen after spring began, locusts would swarm through in summer, and the autumn harvest would fail completely. The entire Qinghe County would become a dead zone.

She didn't cry, make a scene, or beg for mercy. Under cover of night, she emptied the kitchen of its iron pots, pickle jars, and dried wild rabbit meat, pried up the bricks beneath her father's bed, took all the household's grain and two liang of silver, then climbed over the wall and vanished into the vast mountains.

When her father discovered all the food was gone, he knelt in the empty cellar and wailed. The bandits came demanding the girl, and the whole family was beaten until they were battered and bruised.

Meanwhile, Chen Sanniang had set up an iron pot in a cave deep in the mountains and cooked her first hot bowl of porridge since being reborn. With natural disasters approaching and thousands fleeing famine, she was determined to turn this mountain into her own granary. But when the mountains below were strewn with starving corpses and all kinds of people set their sights on the highlands, could she protect it?
