[Global Survival] [Infinite Flow] [Fishing] [Multiple Heroines] [play the pig to eat the tiger] [Talent-Based]
The sky screen descends, banishing eight billion people to tens of thousands of floating islands above a sea of clouds. Each person gets a single fishing rod and a patch of floating land, and must make a "deadly choice" between two options every day at noon. Choose wrong and you die. Abstain and you die.
Other people's talents are fire, immense strength, or precognition. Jiang Bai's sole talent is [Fated Fishing]: the void is an ocean, the sea of clouds is an abyss, and anything can be caught. Other people's talents are just another "fish" hanging from his hook.
When the Shark Hunters slaughter the newcomers on their island, he casts his rod and cuts off an army's escape. When the Executioner declares everyone in the zone condemned to death, he fishes away their lifespan, and they crumble to dust before the crowd. When the tyrannical council strips tens of millions of people of their talents, he casts his final line at the Harvest Festival. "I'm not fishing up a person. I'm fishing up an era."
The Fisher of the Abyss waits for him at the edge of the sea of clouds for thirty years. The sky screen's true form turns out to be a giant mouth that devours all living things.
The Hundred Islands Fishing Tournament, the legacy of the Nine Anglers, the Fishing God battle in the Golden Archipelago... When the eighty-first mark lights up, Jiang Bai finally casts his line toward the true "sky."
This time, the sky takes the bait.
