The Ancestral Home Connects to a Century Ago, and My Flash Marriage Husband Helps Bury Antiques

To save the century-old mansion her grandmother left behind, Shen Zhi honors an old betrothal and marries a member of the Xie family, who, according to rumors, rarely shows his face.

On the third midnight after they register their marriage, she opens the study door and finds herself in 1926. Her husband, who had posed for a photo with her in a suit, now stands before her with blood on his shoulder and a gun at his waist. He is Xie Linchuan of Chengjiang, a man from a hundred years ago.

Shen Zhi brings him lamps and food, investigates old maps, and reminds him to give his name as soon as he comes home each day.

He asks whether she prefers gold or jade, then seals his hidden treasures by hand inside a stone vault beside a well.

The next day, her uncle brings people to force her to sell the mansion at a low price. When the stone lid is lifted, the note accompanying the gift from a hundred years ago is still perfectly clear: "From Linchuan to my wife, Zhizhi."

Later, eighteen hidden chests come to light, and the mysteries of an old painting and a long-buried case are finally solved.

But Shen Zhi can think only of one thing: she mustn't cook tonight's noodles too early.

Her husband, a hundred years away, is waiting for a hot bowl.
