Apocalypse: Summoning a Little of My Ancestors' Vast Network to Survive

On the third day of the apocalypse, the city loses power and torrential rain floods the streets. My company boss pushes me off a rooftop just because I refuse to hand over my last case of bottled water.

At the brink of death, I awaken the Ancestral Lineage Repayment System. As long as I fulfill the favors owed under contracts left by my ancestors, I can summon real historical figures into the world.

Lu Ban builds city defenses, while Hua Tuo saves the critically wounded.

Shen Kuo deciphers the patterns behind the cataclysm, while Zhang Heng monitors earthquakes.

Zheng He opens up a maritime supply route, and Han Xin leads troops to wipe out the zombie tide!

I finally discover that my ancestors weren't ordinary merchants, but a hidden family that saved countless people during times of chaos. Every renowned figure from history has come to repay a debt; every summon grants me the abilities, resources, and connections of their era.

However, the apocalypse is far more terrifying than the zombie tide. Hoarding syndicates monopolize supplies, Awakened alliances fight over shelter cities, a mysterious cult plans to sacrifice an entire city, and behind it all lurks a source of catastrophe that's devouring the civilizations of history.

Just when everyone believes humanity can only cling to life, I lead figures from past and present to build cities, deliver face-slapping comeuppances, expand our forces, and revive civilization.
