The Homicide Hunter with the Red Pen

A girl dies at home. The door was never forced, and none of her belongings are missing.

Shen Guan, a psychology PhD newly assigned to the criminal investigation unit, takes one look at the lock. "She knew the person who knocked."

The last message left by the third victim is even more chilling:

"Master Lu saw me downstairs. Don't worry, everyone."

Shen Guan loves difficult cases. The smarter the killer, the clearer his mind becomes.

A murder weapon that disappears from a wall only to return, five people all claiming responsibility for one murder, a wife who died twelve years ago yet was still cooking noodles for her husband three days ago...

Forensic pathologist Su Rui trusts only test results. He insists on probing the human motives behind the evidence.

After solving each case, he records what happened in a log and gives it to the mentor he trusts most.

Until the final case, when that log turns up in a police evidence bag.

A number has been added to the cover: S-07.
