Transmigrating to the 1950s: I Land a Secure Job Thanks to My Uncle, the Director

Parallel worlds, stories set in the 1950s, a worker in Northeast China, everyday family life, and enjoying life.

Deliveryman Zhou Guoqiang takes a bad fall and lands in a parallel world in 1950. His home is bare, the rundown house leaks in the wind, and there is barely a mouthful of water left in the jar.

His most valuable possession is half a piece of compressed biscuit he had in his pocket when he transmigrated.

The original owner had just fainted from distress. Now Guoqiang has to take over in a nightmare from the start, with both parents dead.

Guoqiang thinks about the policies of the time. Surely he can't spend his whole life bent over the fields?

Just as he is worrying about what to do, a registered letter bearing a five-pointed star arrives at his door.

The sender is the original owner's uncle, Zhang Gan, who transferred to State-Owned Jianxin Factory No. 2 and has already risen to become head of the logistics department.

The letter has just one message: Little sister, if life is hard for you, come stay with your big brother.

Zhou Guoqiang is instantly energized. Just when one door closes, another opens. This is practically a perfect hand from the start. He is going to land a steady factory job too.

Starting as a kitchen helper in the factory canteen, he wins people over with his charm and sharp eye, then stuns the entire factory with his mastery of big-pot cooking.

From a poor young man to a factory leader respected by everyone, his life gets better and better.
