[Tenacious tech-obsessed Wang Ke vs. cool, marriage-avoiding deputy team leader Lin Xiaoman] [Broken engagement + wealth-building + comeback + factory workers + love that grows over time + 1980s + business rivalry] Help! There are 300 people in the whole factory, 280 of them women, and I'm the only male repairman?! Just dumped by his fiancee, Wang Kenan heads south to strike it rich, and somehow stumbles into a "kingdom of women" at a Shenzhen contract factory! The fiery team leader from Hunan keeps dragging him out for drinks, while a gentle Chaoshan girl who ran away from her wedding secretly brings him medicine and meals. It looks like he has landed in a paradise of women, but danger lurks beneath the surface! The workshop manager makes things difficult for him, the machines keep burning out and breaking down, and he's always at risk of being sent packing! No problem! The women handle the assembly line, while he takes charge of the core technology! No imported original parts? He salvages old circuit boards from the scrap heap and hand-builds voltage-regulation and temperature-control modules! Cold solder joints and missed soldering are tanking the yield? He sweeps the boards with a magnifying glass and catches the connected worker sabotaging production for kickbacks red-handed! From a packaging worker everyone mocked to the top technical expert the whole factory fights to keep! Even a wealthy Hong Kong businesswoman worth tens of billions, who drives a Crown and is arrogant and demanding, shows up in high heels and insists on hiring him as her technical consultant! With nothing but a soldering iron, he wins over the entire workshop and sets out to build his own electronics empire! In the gold-rush Special Economic Zone of the 1980s, just how wild can the male boss of an all-women factory be?!
