A Little Concubine Winks from the Tent, and the General Loses His Will

[Soft, sweet, audacious bad beauty vs. cold-hearted, ruthless, obsessive general, who later becomes emperor]

Everyday life | Not a sexually inexperienced couple | Female rivalry | Physical first, feelings later, and then she's his one and only | Angsty push and pull | Two-person romance | Revenge is just a backdrop; the main point is falling in love!

Jiang Yao's maternal aunt stole her father and gave birth to her legitimate elder sister.

Her sister, Jiang Lan, then stole Jiang Yao's fiance, only to marry Sheng Zhao and become a general's wife.

So what is Jiang Yao supposed to do?

Turn around and leave with style, telling them to stay out of her way?

No!

With a flirtatious glance, Jiang Yao climbs into Sheng Zhao's bed, becomes his mistress, and then gets him to bring her openly into the general's residence.

From then on, she's showered with all his affection. Wife, concubine, it doesn't matter: everyone else can step aside!

The first time Sheng Zhao sees Jiang Yao, he wants to possess her, whatever the cost.

Later, she becomes his mistress. He cherishes her, spoils her, and indulges her, but never loves her.

Sheng Zhao has never fallen for a woman.

But of all the women in his life, Jiang Yao is the one he favors most.

Even Sheng Zhao never expected that a man who had always treated women as playthings would one day raise his Yao'er from favored concubine to secondary consort, from Imperial Noble Consort to empress.

Later, he holds her tight, refusing to let her give even a fraction of her attention to anyone else.

"I want no one but Yao'er!"

From then on, the women of the six palaces go hungry, while only the Imperial Noble Consort is pampered until she cries.
