At the start of his sophomore year, Li Lixi has just 600 yuan in living expenses in his pocket and is eating plain noodles. He's the whole school's universally recognized down-and-out heartthrob.
Nobody knows that online, he's the merciless Asura hunted by every player in Naraka: Bladepoint, and the secret moneymaker of a shady esports guild.
"Being a gaming buddy is a shady, low-class job for people living off their youth. I'm taking 80 percent of your pay to put food on your table!"
Faced with the guild boss's threat to withhold all his pay, Li Lixi sneers, leaves the group, deletes his account, and sets up shop on his own!
With empty pockets, he registers Xixi Esports.
That year, the entire gaming-buddy industry is still making money with voice changers, suggestive microphones, and offline meetups.
Li Lixi launches a game-changing industry overhaul: professional-level testing for everyone! Guaranteed wins through clean, legitimate play! Compensation by the second for delays!
Starting from a three-person dorm-room business, he expands into Naraka: Bladepoint, Valorant, Delta Force, and more...
By the time shady guilds are going bankrupt one after another, and billion-dollar investors realize in alarm that the younger generation's traffic has been completely monopolized,
this man, who never dates and focuses on making money, has already taken the throne as the godfather of the national esports industry.
