The Wicked Woman Rules the Realm: The Chaste War God Is Seduced Night After Night

Li Zhaoye grew up wild for ten years in a remote northern frontier village. On her first day back in the capital, she took up a blade and ruled the court.

The entire court denounced her as a madwoman who would bring ruin to the country, so she promptly had Pei Xingyuan, the ascetic God of War who wielded power over the whole court, tied up aboard a pleasure boat.

The aphrodisiac worked its way into his bones, chains wrapped around his wrists. Looking down at him, she pinched his chin. "General Pei, shall we consummate our marriage tonight?"

Pei Xingyuan bit through his tongue, every word dripping with blood. "I would rather die than suffer this humiliation."

Li Zhaoye neither got angry nor dwelled on it. She wiped her hands and turned to leave. "Fine. I'll tie you up again tomorrow night."

From then on, the door to the Great General Who Guards the Nation's room was kicked open punctually every night. The entire capital waited for the stern, murderous general to raise an army in rebellion.

Pei Xingyuan's deputy general prepared a coffin outside the door every day, weeping that his general had once again been defiled by a demoness.

Until the night the Wei clan rebelled and blood flowed through the palace in a coup.

The imperious God of War fought his way through the encirclement alone, his eyes red as he pinned Li Zhaoye firmly to the throne.

"Your Highness, tonight's consummation lesson... hasn't been checked yet. I'll come and give you my report myself."
