The previous version was the one about the timid woman's mother next door. It wasn't fully revised back then, so here's the new version. The author likes writing a series set across connected worlds. The famine-year story next door and the useless wife-lord story are linked worlds, but I got busy with work afterward and dropped them.
I've put a lot of thought into this series and want to write eight worlds. This book currently points toward the eighth world. The heroine loses her memory in every world. I really love doing missions with memories intact, but this series is entirely about doing missions without them.
