I Opened a Hospice, So How Did I Become a God?

Lin Huai inherits a hospice clinic on the verge of closing and becomes bound to the Peaceful Rest Feedback System.

All he wants is to ease his patients' suffering, let them sleep well, and give them a chance to say what they need to say.

Who could have guessed that the first elderly patient to arrive would be a legendary military general whose life was nearly over?

A cup of calming tea, a bedtime story, and one injection later, three days on, the old man's hidden injuries have all healed. He smashes a testing machine with one punch and reaches the Celestial Realm.

The powerful circles of the mystic world are in an uproar: That's no clinic. It's clearly a secluded grandmaster's place to ascend and undergo tribulation!

They have no idea that Lin Huai hasn't even figured out that the tea he's brewing is an immortal herb from the Jade Lake or that the scriptures he's reciting are ancient immortal classics.

He's still carefully reviewing medical records, arranging night shifts, and forbidding anyone from cutting in line by buying an appointment.

It isn't until a mute old man is brought in that he discovers the truth: someone is treating the lives of the dying as commodities to extend the lives of the powerful.

Lin Huai sets down his teacup.

"Ask the patient first if that's what they want. If you haven't asked, don't decide for them that it's time to go."
