Doomsday: A Textbook Guide to Hoarding for the Poor

Reborn at the end of the world?

Got it...

A golden finger?

Got that too...

You'd think those were the standard perks for the chosen one, the protagonist of the world.

But... with this supposed golden opportunity to stock up early, why is the System panel imposing spending limits?

Zhang Lei was getting ready to follow the leads in those short dramas and use every trick in the book to make money. Now he stared at the mere 9,527 yuan he had left, close to tears...

What?

With this little money, he's supposed to stock up on enough supplies and build a shelter that's both sturdy and well-hidden?

Is this some kind of joke?

Still, to earn rewards and grow stronger, Zhang Lei swore to use his less-than-10,000 yuan to take on the missions given to him by this unreliable System.

A shelter... build it himself, and it won't cost much at all!

All kinds of survival supplies... if he can get them for free, he absolutely won't pay!

As the missions progressed, Zhang Lei suddenly realized that even though he'd wanted to stay hidden in the mountains forever, he still couldn't avoid facing the cruelty of the world...

In short,

this is the bizarre tale of a broke man on a post-apocalyptic shopping spree after returning to the apocalypse.

It's also a magnificent anthem of an ordinary man standing shoulder to shoulder with the gods and personally bringing the terrifying apocalypse to an end...
