Sister in Hardship

Miss Baixia was brought into the Shen family in grand style, carried in a sedan chair by eight bearers. The wedding's red decorations filled an entire street.

Her husband said, "You're not the one I wanted to marry," and Miss Baixia went her whole life without ever sharing a marital relationship with him. He never even touched her hand, yet she waited faithfully for his family for seventy years.

This is the tragic life of one unfortunate woman in a feudal age.
