For three years as the Su family's live-in son-in-law, Chen Zhou has kept watch over a shabby fishing-tackle shop. Every day, he's either fishing or on his way to fish.
His mother-in-law calls him useless, his wife thinks he's incompetent, and even his brother-in-law dares to throw his fishing rod out of the house.
The day Su Man becomes the group's CEO, she hands him divorce papers and forces him to leave with nothing.
"What can you do besides fish?"
"Did you pull the Su family's contracts worth tens of billions out of the river?"
Chen Zhou offers no explanation. He signs and leaves.
That night, he says just one thing to his fishing buddies.
"Su Man and I are divorced. From now on, the Su family's business will be handled by the book."
The next day, contracts are canceled, bank loans are frozen, and suppliers cut off deliveries. The Su family begs for help everywhere, but keeps running into Chen Zhou coming out of private rooms with powerful bigwigs. They still think he's just a runner delivering fish.
Only at the Far Voyage Capital conference, when the richest men greet him in unison with "Mr. Chen!", does Su Man realize that the useless live-in son-in-law she drove away was the powerful man behind the scenes who had supported the Su family for three years.
