Pokemon: I'm Socially Awkward, but Every Pokemon Is a Chad

[Pokemon Fan Fiction] [System] [Comedic Contrast] [Face-Slapping] [Enhanced Traits] [Fiery Battles]

Jiang Yubai, a severe social phobic, has spent his whole life dreaming of passing the exam for a breeder position and buying an uninhabited island to retire on.

Who could have guessed that during his senior-year ranking tournament, he would be bound to the [Concept-Level Jiahao System]?

As long as he strikes a Jiahao pose in public and recites an embarrassing line, he can grant his Pokemon outrageous conceptual traits!

But if he refuses, the System takes over the school PA and repeatedly reads aloud the embarrassing diary he wrote in eighth grade!

To preserve his dignity and clock out as fast as possible, Jiang Yubai can only squeeze his eyes shut and recite:

"Stand down. If the guy in my hood opens his eyes, this field won't be able to handle his morning temper!"

His toes curl so hard with embarrassment that they nearly punch through his sneakers, but his timid Ralts is completely fired up with chuunibyou spirit!

It tucks up its skirt with one hand, flips its bangs to reveal its [Black-Flame Right Eye], then whips around and slams its opponent through the battle platform with a Psychic-powered suplex. It wins the match and then stubbornly refuses to get into its Poke Ball!

Even worse, the whole internet mistakes his social anxiety for the coldness of an unparalleled powerhouse.

His hands shake with nerves, and the campus belle pales: "He's actually suppressing the mental backlash of the power running wild inside him!"

He feeds Ralts spicy onion paste, making its eyes water, and tens of thousands of viewers in the livestream collectively lose it:

"He bears hidden injuries and clears the whole field in ten seconds. What kind of peerless ascetic is this?!"

Years later, standing at the pinnacle of the Masters Eight, Jiang Yubai breaks down and covers his face:

"Please stop reading into everything! I only battle this fast because I want to clock out and get home early!"
