His Obsession Is Too Controlling, but the Rebellious Girl Can't Escape

[Sweet romance + awakening + spoiled troublemaker + older daddy + romance before love]

[Bright, spoiled heiress * unhinged man with overwhelming possessiveness]

Tan Li doesn't like Pei Nanyu.

He's the housekeeper her grandfather appointed to supervise her. Strict and rigid, he acts like a machine programmed to follow rules.

To avoid being disciplined, Tan Li played dirty: she slept with him and used it to threaten him.

But then she unexpectedly awakened to the truth. She's a wicked supporting female character, and Pei Nanyu is the male lead she's humiliated and toyed with. One day, he'll return to his wealthy family and make bankrupt the Tan family as his first order of business, then sell her overseas as a slave.

Tan Li: I deeply regret my actions.

She starts trying to change her fate. No more acting spoiled, forcing people to be her dog, or playing with their feelings.

But Pei Nanyu changes instead.

He insists they make their relationship official.

He takes her out and keeps her away all night.

He even buys mountains of the clothes she was never allowed to wear before.

“Baby, can you wear this tonight?”

Tan Li: ...This is all wrong!

The day Pei Nanyu is welcomed back into the Pei family, Tan Li is overjoyed and rushes straight to the airport to escape.

A car blocks her way.

A man holding a black umbrella approaches through the rain, his presence fierce and his possessiveness terrifying. “Baby, where are you going?”

Tan Li is nearly in tears with fright. “Pei Nanyu, we're not right for each other. I hope you're happy...”

“How are we not right for each other?”

“From now on, you can be the one in control, okay?”
