Your Majesty, Stop Torturing Me. This Servant Loves You

[Two Male Leads] [Unequal Status] [Devoted Sub Bottom] [Angst for the Bottom] [Bottom Chases the Top] [Love-Brained Bottom] [Both Leads Reborn]

Emperor Top × Eunuch Bottom (Li Lan × Qiao He)

-

Qiao He, a trusted courtier of the emperor and head of the Western Depot, believed he was cherished by the emperor. But after two years guarding the frontier, all their master-servant affection was spent. The emperor grew suspicious of him and ordered him to die by a white silk cord.

Reborn, he learned his lesson the hard way and decided to cling to His Majesty, humbling himself in every way. All he wanted was to become the most useful blade in the emperor's hand.

But why did His Majesty hate him more the more obedient he became?

-

After being driven out of the capital once again, Qiao He was utterly despondent. He tried to hang himself, but failed to die, and saw His Majesty again.

His Majesty even said he liked him.

He must be lying...

How could someone as useless as him deserve His Majesty's affection?

Being a dog at His Majesty's feet, wagging his tail and begging for scraps, was already more good fortune than he could hope for in several lifetimes.

P.S. The order to have the bottom executed did not come from the top. The bottom does not know this at first, but he still tries to please and cling to the top. To him, being suspected by His Majesty is more terrifying than being killed by him.
