Mo Ye died at the age of 28. Cause of death: terrible luck.
But on the road to the afterlife, he put all his luck back into himself.
With 40 luck points, the maximum, he grabs the chance to be reborn from the start! Other people lose health when fighting monsters; he gets gold coins. Others find copper chests; he opens treasure chests and gets divine gear. Others flee on shared bikes; he tears through the black fog on a three-wheeled motorbike.
Black fog pursuers? Monsters blocking the way? No such thing. Luck is for defying fate and changing your destiny.
People ask: "Where'd you get all those gold coins?"
Mo Ye: "Earned them chasing mice for the dog."
People: "???"
This is a one-way highway through the underworld, with hardship and danger up ahead and the deathly black fog behind.
Mo Ye pats the gold coins in his pocket and grins. "Fortune has always belonged to those who fight for it."
