Synopsis

The melting Antarctic ice sheet unleashes ancient bacteria that have slept for 140 million years, along with deep-sea behemoths. A superpower falls completely within seventy-two hours, forcing the survivors into exile abroad. In the end, they wage a final battle in the Antarctic abyss, a battle with no hope of victory.
