After losing his job, Xu Jiashu returns to his hometown and takes over the convenience store his grandfather left him. All he wants is to pay off his debts before the landlord kicks him out. But the first customer to come in before closing is carrying a bag of clouds that are leaking rain.
The cash register binds him to a strange business System. It offers no magic power and gives no answers. It recognizes just one rule: pay first, then ask for help.
So the Rain God comes to buy batteries, a fire spirit borrows the freezer, and the local earth god's temple places an order for three hundred nighttime supply packs at once... The immortals don't know how to scan QR codes, but Xu Jiashu refuses to bend the store's rules. To save his little shop and the whole old street, he has to teach these honored customers how to queue up, and how to pay for their own troubles.
