Chen Ning only wanted to make money.
He planned to head into the Demonic Beast Forest, gather some spirit-beast blood, trade it for a few spirit stones, then head down the mountain, open a shop, get married, and live a peaceful life.
Then the bloodline inside him awakened.
The whole world wanted him dead because he carried a prophecy that foretold the destruction of the Nether Sect.
He took a master, who told him he was a Devouring Origin Body, a rare find once in ten thousand years, and that the more people he killed, the stronger he would become.
His senior sister said, "If you ever fall to the evil path, I'll kill you myself."
The Nine Dragons said, "The power inside you may not be yours."
Chen Ning just wanted to stay alive.
But the dragon said, "Kid, stick with me and we'll take them all on."
