In Handong, Chen Qishan, who runs Qishan Auto Repair, is just an ordinary middle-aged man who keeps his head down and fixes cars, at least in the eyes of outsiders. Nobody knows he was once a major player who stirred up the whole of Handong. After years living under an assumed name, all he wants is a peaceful life with his daughter.
But on his daughter's birthday, Hou Liangping arrives with a group of people to take her away.
His peaceful life is shattered in an instant. Faced with an investigation that comes out of nowhere, Chen Qishan stops holding back. Drawing on the insight and connections he has built up over the years, he picks apart their evidence piece by piece, exposes every suspicious detail, and protects his daughter.
Underneath the surface, forces across Handong are stirring. Qi Tongwei, Gao Yuliang, and others are drawn into the game. When buried events from the past come to light, everyone finally realizes that this auto mechanic is far more than he appears. A battle of wits for Handong is about to begin.
