In 2026, the protagonist, Zhen Guanzhe, is a restaurant owner whose business goes under during the pandemic. After failing to find a job despite searching everywhere, he happens upon a recruitment website advertising a position for a Pacification Commissioner in the Pacification Office. Curious, he applies, goes to the interview, and gets the job. His phone's System then issues missions and sets out a pay scheme, launching him into the work of arresting corrupt officials.
With the System's guidance and abilities, he arrests numerous corrupt officials and earns plenty of rewards. Just when there are no more officials left to catch and the land is at peace, the mastermind behind it all finally steps into the open. The twist is beyond anything he could have imagined...
