On the Eve of the Political Marriage, I Flipped the Chessboard

On the eve of her political marriage, Shen Zhaotang discovers a poisoned arrow hidden in the bridal sedan. The so-called union is nothing but a plot to have her die in a foreign land. She burns the marriage contract, changes into her wedding dress, and smiles as she steps onto the road to her death. But Pei Jin, the enemy prince who commands a powerful army, finds half a secret map tucked in her sleeve and chuckles. "This game of yours is missing someone to move the pieces, Princess." He shields her from arrows, joins her scheme, and helps her strike back at the envoys from her homeland. But just as she thinks she's regained her freedom, Pei Jin pins her against the army tent. "You used me and now you want to run?"
